Performed and presented The Celestial Harp. 1983/6/19: The Solar System 1983 music dance performance installation at the IAO Research Centre’s Astrologers’ Picnic, Toronto Island. Performed at York University, Toronto. Composed and recorded in memorial service for the 14 Montreal students shot in 1989. 1997/Dec.: CIUT Radio featured Four Giants Four Gods, on the Celestial Harp. 1998/Jan.: CIUT Radio Celebration Starsong with Rene Gelpi featured Four Giants Four Gods, on the Celestial Harp. 1998/3/14: BAMBOO Club, Toronto. Played kpanlogo drum with Kwasi Dunyo’s Kekeli Drum Ensemble accompanying Adam Soloman and his pan-African band Tikisa. This was a memorial performance for Tarig Abubakar. 1998/5/10: African Wedding Toronto: played kpanlogo with Kwasi Dunyo 1998/5/11: CBC National, Benmurgui Live, Toronto. Played Gankogui & Axatsee with Kwasi Dunyo’s Kekeli Drum Ensemble. 1998/6/19-21: Dialog of the Drums Summer Solstice Weekend Retreat. Workshop leader and performer. Drumming I Ching and Star Rhythms, in Wyevale, Ontario, 1998/7/25: Hillside Community Festival in Guelph, African Drumming Workshop performing with Kwasi Dunyo. Special Afro-Japanese Drum Jam performing with Kwasi Dunyo and others. 1998/8/09: Toronto’s Taste of the Danforth Festival performing with Kwasi Dunyo’s Kekeli Drum Ensemble. 1998/8/30: McMichael Art Gallery in Kleinberg: Elemental Forces Family Day Celebration: African Drumming Workshop performing with Kwasi Dunyo 1998/10/24: The State of the Art Astrology Conference, in Toronto. Performance by Martian Thunder, a seven-person percussion ensemble, the band was put together and directed by me for this occasion. We played An Invocation of the Ancestors composed by me, and some African traditional songs. 1999/5/1: Tweenies Open Stage Gala 99, at the Launch Pad with a Djembe Drumming Ensemble directed by Nicholas Hockin 1999/5/22: Music Workshop Drum Weekend in Thunder Bay, Saturday night performance with Kwasi Dunyo, Sean Jesseau and Michael Szamosi 1999/5/23: Thunder Bay Television News Hour, CKPR & CHFD, Sunday night performance with Kwasi Dunyo, Sean Jesseau and Michael Szamosi.
